We are a friendly, relaxed group of singers and anyone is welcome to come along and give us a try. There is no formal audition and you don’t need to be able to read music, although it helps!

Established in 1980, we are a mixed choir of about 40 people from Hampton-in-Arden, Knowle, Solihull and surrounding areas.

We rehearse once a week throughout the year (although we do have August off for good behaviour!) on Monday evenings at the Scout and Guide Hall in Hampton-in Arden. Rehearsals run for 2 hours, from 7.45pm to 9.45pm, with a 15 minute, half-time tea break; always very welcome!

Our rehearsal programme includes “training evenings” led by our vocal coach Gaynor Keeble.

We usually perform two concerts a year, plus our traditional Christmas Concert. We like to make one of our concerts an orchestral one when we work with professional soloists.

Our repertoire is very varied - from baroque to rock-’n-roll!  We often host a “Singalong” event in the summer where we rehearse and perform a popular work, such as the Messiah, in one (very enjoyable) day.
